First of all, we need to create our text and the color gradient.

  1. File>New - 200px by 200px is good, you can always cut it later on
  2. Select the Text tool and write any name - adjust the font's size, typeface, color, etc.
  3. Now select the Vector Rectangle tool and draw over the text a large rectangle
  4. Fill the rectangle with some Linear Gradient before rotating it's direction
  5. Edit>Cut - rectangle alone
  6. Select your 'text' layer and click on File>Edit>Paste Inside

Now, we need to create the reflexion.

  1. Edit>Clone
  2. Modify>Transform>Flip Vertical
  3. Now move this inversed text to the bottom of the original one.
  4. Invert the gradient
